UK Thrash T-Shirts: Ideas?

Right, the idea has been there for some time, but I now have the spare cash to actually get this done. What we're looking for is suggestions for designs/slogans and general opinions on what people want, as well as how much people would be prepared to pay - although we would be limited to having to cover costs at the very least.

Serious suggestions only, any random crap will be deleted.

I would avoid any stupid forum in-jokes, keep it serious, but I'm sure that's what you were thinking anyway. Just the UKThrash symbol on the front and maybe a slogan on the back, something like The UK's Online Thrash Metal Community, keep it simple you know. Just my idea.

Also just add "United for Thrash" and other Violator quotes. Joke.

Just for gods sake dont use that multi-coloured logo from the top of the page!!!

Even if a lot of you here dont like thrash, it needs to be thrash in style at the least.

Also, please no crappy cheesy backprint which ruins so many band shirts!!!!

I say we keep the price low, and keep the print quite simple and clear, doesn't necessarily need a backprint. Has to be something that people would wear, and preferably feature the URL. What about drawings/graphics of some sort?

Maybe the logo itself is due for a revamp?

Logo def needs a re-vamp.

Ermm....union jack is a good idea...maybe like "new wave of british thrash metal" or something i dunno.

Needs logo and the url,

I think i would pay up to £10 aslong as it was a badass tshirt!

We have put an alternative logo up - what do people think? I'd say that would look better on a shirt for one thing.

Yeah it's not too bad that, probably an improvement over the other, e'll take a while to get used to though.

I'd be a tad disappointed if there wasn't any element of humour on the shirts, but whutevaaa... I'd still buy one.

new logo is a definate improvement, but still a bit cheesy really!!

How about a take on a thrash band style sort of like thrash unlimiteds logo (but not doing the anthrax style as they have already done it).

Id buy one if the print was jamie in his gold dress with a speech bubble saying "UK thrash is not just for peados!!!"

Ah, I've refreshed the page and can see it now. It's alright, but not great, mainly the font. I like the style of having the www/co.uk in a small size and having a large 'UK Thrash', that'd look good on a shirt, it's just the font I'm not keen on, I agree with Mort that it looks a bit cheesy. I think it needs to look a bit more exciting and fresh, but I can't really explain what I mean by that. Tom's skull/union jack idea is good, some kind of picture would be nice, with the website logo printed below it.

Also, I think £10 would be a bit much for the majority of people who won't know what UK Thrash.co.uk is - and to be honest, I can't imagine people wanting to pay that much for a t-shirt with a web address on it, unless the design is really really amazing. A fiver I reckon would be more realistic, maybe £7 at a push, at least at this stage when it's not a very recognisable name. The price of merchandise can go up as the forum gets more popular!

I agree, £10 is way too much - hopefully it will be £5-6. If anyone has any other font ideas or wants to have a crack at a more elaborate logo, please post them here!
