Am i the only person that is disappointed in this?

Sounds "Earached" to me. It does still sound like Gama Bomb though which is a blessing.

Too overproduced in places so it lacks the real punch that fastest had.

Good, but just not great.

I'm sad.
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

Thank the Police coming straight from the underground...

Survival.. was great, but it lacked something i think. And the production is really full in this. But i know what you mean on the "Earacge" sound. The thrash seems to be produced very similar to other bands. But its an improvement from the last album :)

I really can't agree with that.

This just seems sapped of so much energy when compared to SOTF.

Just to state though, i do love you boys very much and will defiantly still come to see you as i know from experience how bloody good you are.

The new songs have resulted in an oaken obelisque appearing in the groinal garden.

I know what you mean, it's almost as if these producers have a set formula that they use for all the modern thrash albums, they all sound the bloody same and it sucks the personality out of the band. Luckily Gama Bomb are so good and have a strong enough character that it still comes across and the music sounds pretty unique, even if there isn't anything unique about the production.

Yeah this sadly seems to be the case - apart from differences in the songwriting, you could honestly pass off a track by Gama Bomb, Evile, SSS, Bonded By Blood, Violator etc as THE SAME BAND!!

I do agree to an extent John that the songwriting keeps a spark of identity going, with regards to Gama Bomb at least, but it is still in danger of being a bit eclipsed I would say.

That's why I can totally understand the comment which said it is reminiscent of Municipal Waste, because when you apply the Earache factory sound to a band who share some similarities with the crazy edge of MW, they are bound to sound similar.

In conclusion, I think that Gama Bomb have always been most exciting as a live band, and that is the remaining arena where a faceless Earache sound can't really remove their identity!!
