Again, amazing! I agree with the sound though, I was right at the front yet couldn't hear most of the vocals for Mutant.

Re: Evile, Mutant and Warpath tour
River Freshney and Mutant were great!!!!
Didn't catch Trigger The Bloodshed, though its funny how in terrorizer this month the press machine is churning for them, but the whole article is trying to justify these sorts of death metal bands to "old school" fans without actually talking about their music....whats the point and more precisely who cares.
Caught a few tracks of Evile and whilst being a really tight band just didn't do that much for me, hopefully when the writing for the new album goes full force they can come up with something awesome

Re: Evile, Mutant and Warpath tour
whats the general consensus on the new evile songs? The only one i heard via youtube is demolition or something, i didn't think it was too great, but then again youtube and hand held camera dosn't do anyone's sound any justice.

I wasn't keen on Demolition. I prefer the really fast stuff as well.

This.
From Enter The Grave, the best sounds would be Armoured Assault, Schizophrenia and First Blood. Oh and Killer From The Deep but im not counting that cos of All Hallows Eve n such.

Re: Evile, Mutant and Warpath tour
Hey people. Haven't posted on here in AGES but thought I would as I can at work.
Gig was proper awesome. Totally reinvigorated my faith in Thrash and the UK scene especially. River Freshney were really good. Yeah, their un-pc bits make me feel a bit... hmmmm... but there's no denying their power live. The old vocalist wasn't missed much and Wes adds a punkier edge, which I like. Don't think I've heard Shit Bands, No Fans before but that me laugh and it's fucking thrash as fuck. Good stuff.
Mutant were insane. The crowd went pretty wild and the set was awesome. I know there was some annoyance due to broken guitar string thanks to moronic crowd-play but, at the end of the day, it's the energy that counts. It had it in fucking buckets. The Rauncher has to be the best songs of UK Thrash history ever. Brilliant.
Trigger the Bloodshed were not really fitting of the bill but they did all they could and I was impressed by their vigour. I am not really keen on contemporary death metal, I like it old-skool, but I think I could enjoy them with a bit of proper listen first.
Evile were much better than I thought they'd be, really blinding. Again, the crowd were absolutely bezerk but Evile handled it as professionally as possible. With regards to the new song, I don't think Demolition is going to end up that popular. The start had a nice sepultura type feel but then it ended up a tad plodding. The song that was titled (I think) 'Jack Bauer's Power Crotch' for the night was much better. I've never had any beef with Evile style of mid-paced Thrash and thought the set was fucking brill. All in all, it was grand.
Got me a Capital Punishment DVD and a Laserdome EP. However, had no chance to enjoy the delights yesterday because of exhaustion. I will let you know what I think soon... Still, whatever, the scene is fucking here to stay!

This. Demolition is good but lacks something. Chingina however, is bloody brilliant in my opinion.
