That one in the top right looks just like Tom Araya.
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.
Thank the Police coming straight from the underground...

Re: Slayer postpone European tour.
They were wank last time i saw them (2 yrs ago in wolverhampton), awful sound, awful performance, no encores and total lack of caring for the fans who had paid good money to see them that night. I will remember them from april 87 and never pay to see them ever again!!! Tosspots!!

To be fair, they were pissed off at the change of venues (Arenas downsized to Academies) and that they had to play before Trivium on certain shows (That's enough to piss anybody off). The whole tour kind of fell apart before it even happened and I'm quite glad I didn't go, even though it looks like it may have been the only chance I had to see them play Psychopathy Red.
Nobody was disappointed last night, that's for sure. The entire place was carnage from beginning to end and I didn't see or hear anybody complaining about the set list.

so being pissed off at not being good enough anymore to fill the nec is a reason to give piss poor service to those who did bother to go.? Ive been to gigs where virtually noone turned up and the bands still give 101%. A 40 min headlining set is just not acceptable!!

Looking at that setlist I'm glad I didn't bother this time. I saw em both London dates on the last Unholy Alliance thing, and after Trivium anything sounds good.

They played for about an hour on UAIII (14 songs in the set) which was the same as the first two Unholy Alliance tours. I didn't go myself but I knew a few people who went to the Wolves show and they said they were excellent.
They lost serious money on that tour and even had to resort to gimmicks to sell tickets (Playing Reign in Blood for London only and giving away free flash drives with download codes to Psychopathy Red on them) but, instead of cancelling the tour entirely (which looked highly likely at one point), they perservered and made a lot of people very happy. Even if they weren't themselves.

I think as long as you may live, you won't ever get to see them play a set consisting entirely of Show No Mercy and Hell Awaits...
Anyway - are there any other support bands on the tour? Wondering whether to show up early.

Very well said Sacha!! If people go to see slayer to just watch them, just get the live DVD. The whole slayer live experience is about takin in the whole atmosphere and goin nuts in the pit to non stop balls to the wall thrash. end.
+ I thught the set list was perfect, once they input all the classics theres pretty limited set time to add a back catalogue of 11 records with obscure songs. Chemical Warefare, Hellawaits, Silent scream and aggressive perfector?? no cause for complaints. WPB is awesome anyway!!
The haunted were the only support as well..

Seems they played all of Seasons in the Abyss at the second London show.

Re: Slayer tour.
I was gutted at first I didn't see them do all of Seasons but then realised I've seen them do all of it with the exception of Born of Fire and Temptation at one point or another anyway.
And considering they missed out Hell Awaits and Chemical Warfare to get those in, I'm quite happy with the shows I saw.
