The new song sounds like a mix between Divine Intervention and Undisputed Attitude - which is good. The riffs are undeniably cliche - but Slayer invented those type of riffs, so they're allowed. Tom's vocals at the end are right good when he just goes spastic and the bass bit in the middle is good.

Divine Intervention was a kick ass album. Undisputed Attitude was, in a word, gant.

I wonder if his shades were on because he was being filmed or because he wears them all the time. It's a little silly to wear shades in the studio - there are all kinds of trip hazards he may not see!

I liked Christ Illusion, but my favourite is Seasons - mega drumming and riffs, and passable solos.

It's not that bad actually. The drumming is bloody amazing, Dave Lombardo's amazing, jesus hell. I like the bit where it slows does for a few seconds then goes back into the madness. Don't really like the main riff though, it's a bit shite. But yeah, Tom's mental vocals at the end are amazing! So quite nice, not amazing, but nice.
