Easy to label Halford's recent stuff as cliched, but remember he's the man that actually invented them.

Even in the day, some their (JP's) stuff was pretty tongue in cheek, painkiller for an obvious example. You can be pretty sure Rob is having a good laugh along the way with the imagery as well as being dead serious about the metal.
