Opeth at the cinema

Postby jonny_boy34 on Thu Oct 09, 2008 2:09 pm

Not really a gig, but an event nonetheless. Opeth's The Roundhouse Tapes finally comes out on DVD in November, for some reason they are showing it at a cinema in Leicester Square! The band will also be there so we can rape them like George Lucas and Steven Spielberg. Here's the news:

Who's coming with me?

Paul has a point, i am not actually very good at praising people in person anyway.

But if i can scrape the cash together then yes.
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

It is all part of being a militant apathist, well for the most part.

that being said i do actually think they are amazing musicians, but i can only imagine the sort of horrid arse sniffers that will be at an event like this.

Well me and Jambon have got our tickets. I actually had a dream about it last night, I gave Watershed to Mikael Akerfeldt to sign, and told him it was amazing, and he told me he thought Nebukadnezza were really good. He referred to them as 'Nebs' though, and I was shocked that he knew them, then I woke up.

I'd only go to the cinema if Oasis were there.

Just listen to Definitely maybe and Morning Glory (and most of Be Here Now too, actually) (oh, and The Masterplan) and pretend they haven't done anything since. It's better that way. (Even though there are some good songs scattered about the last few albums, but nothing as amazing as Bring It On Down or Headshrinker. Or Morning Glory.
