I just listened to the tracks now. I thought it was pretty good. Unlike most other people, I actually liked the vocals. They sounded quite aggressive. I would say that though, I'm a massive Pantera head.

I liked it to. Pretty solid stuff. Again id agree with GoreBastard as i quite liked the vocals as they aint the same ol' thrashy yell shit and plus i bum pantera also. Shame on me.

I think Martin's point about the vocals is that whether you're a fan of the Anselmo style or not, a UK band shouldn't need to imitate an American accent..

Well, it's just generally poor form to allow the slightest trace of accent to slip into your voice whilst singing. Mel C does it and she's fucking horrible. Perhaps a more prominent example would be The Proclaimers.

the songs just dont have that feeling that makes you want to go crazy in my opinion and thats what good thrash does, should be faster and heavier in my opinion and what everyone else said about the vocals,

I totally agree bout the american thing if your english but another point is if you learn your trade growin up listening to certain bands who may have a certain style or accent, its bound to have a certain effect on you. But goin out of you way to sound like a yank is wank, its a hard one cos obviously martin for instance does not speak in the same voice that he sings and nor do i. Its hard one to justify really. Should we penalise Death Metal vocalists for immitating the devil?
