I think that the American bands are poorly represented on the poll, though obv. that's what everyone knows as the big four. Out of those 4 though I only really have time for Megadeth, the others just a little. The German bands though I will happily listen to all 3. However, overall I prefer more American thrash to the deutschthrash stuff.

I just rate German bands such as Exumer, Assassin, Accuser, the two Angels (Dust and Iron), Coroner (German-Swiss), and many more more highly than the Big 3. Don't get me wrong, I love Destruction and a couple of albums each by Kreator and Sodom but the 5 or so I listed just do a lot more for me.

German have LOTS of so fucking killer obscure thrash metal bands

for those you mention about

Exumer's debut is so fucking classic
but only ONE classic aint top German 3

Assassin, too bad I still havent got their stuff
waiting for the marquee rec. reissue

Accuser is the only one on the German 3 level for me
They're one of my absolutely top german band!
Their Repent IS SO FUCKING GREAT!!!
The Experimental Error EP is the best thrash metal EP for me
yup, it's even better than Sentence of Death for me!
I used to made a thread said they are MAD UNDERRATED
but not too many people agree with my point.... so sad

Angel Dust debut is very Great!
but no way on the german 3 level

Iron Angel is my another favorite
they are mad underrated too
Both albums are CLASSIC
and I Just dying for the new album!

I'm hardly an expert on german or central european thrash but what I've heard from Coroner tops everything i've heard from the big 3. They're riff machines! :rockdevil:

i certainly haven't heard nearly enough destruction to make a fair vote. i love melodic stuff like megadeth and metallica but the aggresion and general amazingness of german thrash is what thrash is truely about.... its so fucking hard.. i will vote in 20 years please, thank you.
