A very memorable evening,4 great bands/sets.even with the stage still under construction,i think the bands managed fine

although doctor death had the odd minor technical problem thier shorts more than made up for it :D
river freshney were entertaining and nice one for using the lower space.
mutant are true professionals and played so crisply and tight.was good to hear scrap brain zone at last.
and lastly damnas, the stars of the evening, amazing set, amazing crowd, amazing party!got the ep of course :rockdevil:

i enjoyably drank more than at any show(some of you could probably tell!) due to the drinks actually being affordable :D just as well really as i was swindled out of £8.50 at the subway sandwich place just for 1 large baguette full of all sorts. :( (toppings not bertie bassett sweets) :D

lets hope donny recovers as he seemed rather wasted last night(cool to see he obviously enjoyed himself to the full) ....makes a change from faraz always being the high one :D

Haha, that was hilarious, we should have raped that silly looking Polish girl who served you for that.

It was an excellent evening, shame about all the sound problems Dr. Death had but they still put on a great set, was good to finally hear the Jeremy Beadle song.

Mutant sounded unbelievably tight, you could really tell they've been practicing alot, also the new song sounded excellent, was good to see the crowd singing along to it even though it was it's live debut! Very cool indeed.

Damnas were excellent as always, really good crowd and a great atmosphere, looking forward to giving the EP a proper listening to later on.

That was easily one of the best nights of UK thrash I've ever been to!!! Hats off to all involved - it were sterlin', proper sterlin'!

What everyone else said. Such a crazy night! It was so good to see everyone again and, of course, the bands had me headbanging like a maniac :rockdevil: I'm feeling fragile today... Well done to everyone involved :)

Apparently it was not a sexual day for me either... Lewis you bastard!

Lovely time, really enjoyed everything.

Even the bizarre behavior of madame kate.

Gig review for the zine is already half done as well, hurrah!
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

Thank the Police coming straight from the underground...

Is it really that predictable?

Was an awesome night, really worth the effort. It's a shame that the fucking gremlins got to Dr Death again but, as many have said, the song about Jeremy Beadle was excellent. Toxic Dead got my neck going nice too.
Freshney, after all the controversy, actually didn't seem that bad. The homophobia and dumbness of everything is clearly neither malicious nor tongue-in-cheek; the music was pretty brutal (I thought it was nice and heavy, though I accept not for everyone) and their was clearly a lot of love coming from the guys. Obviously there are other matters but I'm not going to dismiss them entirely.
Mutant were great. A very professional show and as entertaining as ever. New song was really good, nice melody-type thing going on at one point. Now there just needs to be a proper release!
Damnas were band of the night, unquestionably. Donny did look pretty fucked but he played a blinder and the rest of the band played it all nice and powerful. Listened to the EP bare and I'm sporting a my T-Shirt. All in all, a very pleasing time.

There's an unseen fortune under their belts
Are golden temples a symbol of God's way
This horde of wealth is a sickening display"
