I still can't get over how they wrote a song about Satan(?) driving through the streets of Warrington in an ambulance.

Best song ever?

Yeah! I'm listening to the album now, it arrived yesterday. The bit above has to be just about the most brilliantly funny thing I've enjoyed in music since I discovered Touch of Evil by Priest (and I'm not knocking either song in the slightest).

There's an unseen fortune under their belts
Are golden temples a symbol of God's way
This horde of wealth is a sickening display"

On the Myspace now, fucking awesome! Guys, get a gig together for Crewe or something! I reckon if you play the Limelight and get some decent other bands to play you'll pull a reet good crowd. DO EET!

How the hell have these guys been on my own doorstep without me discovering them?

They were on your doorstep about 12 years ago under a different name. if you enter the limelight stage area, the wall on the left as you go in, at the top there is a "spam javelin" poster. I think there was about 5 paying people that night so i would say H.O.D would be reluctant to play crewe unless there was a bit more of a crowd. It is very rare a unsigned band or a non tribute band get any crowd at the limelight, unless the scene has dramatically increased its thirst for heavy music over the past couple of years.

i think the Limelight could be a well decent place for biggish bands to play, but most folks in crewe want to listen to bi jovi and ab/cd etc.

What are the chances of getting hold of some of the lyrics for these to enhance my singalongabilities?

6. Kicked To the Curb

I'm Working hard on a late shift, feeling so dejected,
The nine-to-fivers have started off early, It's just as I expected,
They've all gone to town, where they party is down,
Coz I'm craving for beer and they're calling me queer,
The pressure's in on & the sweats are kickin' in,
My calls continue, my patience gettin' thin,
Yeah I'm Working hard on a late shift, sneaking out the back early,
I make detour to the liqour store, gonna get all surly,
I'm on my Way...x4
<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt">

I just love the last line! :-)

Cheers mate! As a fan of drinking, trapdoor, The Punisher, thrash and, yes, even wargaming myself, this has made my night.

Oh bollocks! My mate just pointed that out.....

Here are my 2 all time favorite lyrics,

I am a tiger

"I'LL GNAW YOU BONES CLEAN......:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />HAR AR AR AR."

Kicked to the curb

"I'm on my Way...x4
<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt">"

How Dave works all that complicated stuff and symbols into the songs and still makes it sound good is true art.

There are also other mistakes but, as you have no doubt just done a load of typing, I'll let you off. For now.

I'll do a bit of proof reading later.
