Did no one approach the issue from the other direction? How can we have free will if God is omniscient (all-knowing), and already knows everything that will happen in the future? Surely that means it is pre-determined, and free will is quite an empty term?
More importantly, WHY did God give us free will? If all he wanted, which seems quite clear, was a world which would be totally subservient to him forever... why the so-called "free will"?
