I'd suggest putting the ME-50 in the DSL's loop and use it for delays, reverbs, choruses e.t.c. (which can sound like arse when shoved in front of the amp) and use the amp's distortion channels when thrashing. I used to use a DSL extensively in rehearsal and run a GT-6 in the loop (not entirely dissimilar to the ME-50). Sounded awesome. But hey, play around with it, what sounded good to me might sound shite to you.

We tried for three hours to get a good distorted sound out of it. We were really into the clean tone though, so we didn't just wanna write it off. We asked the guy in the shop if we'd be able to get much more of a distorted sound that what we got out of it just through the gain channel but he said no, so we just stook our pedals on it and bam! Perfect. We used lots and lots of distortion - More so than you're average Thrash band.

What ya reckon? The trem is another Jacko trem, but a better model than the one I had before aswell :) And I didn't go out to especially get any of this, I just raped one of my other guitars of hardware hehe!

I used to have an Ibanez destroyer II, custom painted exactly like Mathias Jabs one out of the scorpions. I had a phillips combo and Ibanez Metal screamer, and boss digital metalizer pedals. Coulnt play FUCK ALL, but it was fun to just make loads of noise on it :D

Before then, i was in an....erm......band (cough  ), that never made it out of the bedroom, where i used a cheap Les Paul copy through a bass practice amp, and Ian, who was drummer, used.....well, ask him yourself

We recorded 2 legendary tapes back in 86, both of which have been lost for many years!!!!!!

My gear sucks beyond imagination.

The maverick would sound awesome but it's fucked.

Which is why i'm getting these:

Give it 5 months and Sekhmet will have the best sounding guitar setup in the country.

I'll have either a C7 Hellraiser, Blackjack or Loomis Sig and and an ENGL Powerball/ ENGL Cab

Mikey will have bunch of Gibson Flying Vs and already has a Diezel Herbert/Orange cab

All fitted with Bare Knuckles.

*drools profusely*
