i thought sepultura wus a shit nu metal band, only like a year ago arise came on scuzz tv and i was like 'holy shit' so i looked abit into em and turned out they were thrash metal

I used to hate Sepultura... I'd only heard the modern shit (I don't really like any of their stuff after Arise! anyhow), and Soulfly... so not surprising that people think they're shit!
Same with Slayer, first stuff I heard was Diablos and GHUA.... what a load of shit!!! then like 2 years later I heard Raining Blood, changed my opinion quite a bit!!!

Arise, BTR , Chaos AD<yeah all of it fuckers! when Max left (i was at their last ever gig together back in 96) they werent Sepultura anymore, Roots was..ok, cool ideas but not very interesting.. if anything influenced the numetal sound it was that album
