I think out of the big 4 it's Metallica and Slayer that fucked up the most.
Metallica did the gay orchestra album and that nu-metal one, and Slayer did God Hates us All,
but, none of them should be replaced! In their prime each of them made ground-breaking albums that changed metal, so fuck off!

Even more so with Christ Illusion.

What the bloody hell, they do! If you're trying to tell me Slayer are versatile you've gone bloody wrong.
I wasn't saying it as a bad thing...I like Slayer...but all their songs are like...the same. Apart from the really shit ones like Bloodline. But that's just the odd song..so on a whole....all their albums sound the same...
