Re: Introduce Yourself
Howdy, I'm Gareth, six stringer with Winterburn, I love thrash, and most other kinds of metal...not too keen on the core stuff though, unless it's older...like Agnostic Front.....favourites include Death, Demolition Hammer, Slayer, Sepultura, Napalm Death and Priest.

Oooorite
'ello 'ello 'ello.
I'm Nath, 24, I play guitar for Shrapnel.
Black Sabbath is great. I'm convinced that Master Of Reality is the best thing that ever happened anywhere. Ever.
Thrash is great. Especially Slayer, Vio-lence and Exhorder.
My favourite beers are Bishops Finger and Nelson's Revenge. They are mega-tasty.

Amen to that. Not too keen on Bishop's Finger though, it seemed a bit fruity for my tastes.

Children Of The Grave is the most perfect thing the world will ever know. Anyone who argues with this has serious mental problems.

Re: Introduce Yourself
OK well let me introduce myself too. I am Hans Hostile, bassplayer and vocalist for Dutch crossover thrashers T.C.F. I am 31 years old and have been listening to thrash metal since 1990. First tape I ever laid my hands on was "boy in a mans world" by MUCKY PUP (still love that album!). This was given to me by the big brother of a friend of mine. Shortly after I discoveren ANTHRAX and some german bands like TANKARD and KREATOR. Mid 90's SODOM were my favourite band and I started playing the guitar myself. I started off in a punk coverband playing mostly RAMONES material. I met our current drummer Rob somewhere around 96-97 and I joined his traditional MOTORHEAD/SODOM inspired thrash outfit PAVEWAY. Back in those days thrash was absolutely dead, no reunions, al bands but a few had quit due to grunge and nu metal kicking in. There were almost no cellphones and no internet, very different times. You had to actually go to a record store to request your favourite albums and read magazines to get your news and infos. The only two metal festivals that mattered were Dynamo Open Air and Wacken to some extent. Anyway I was kicked from PAVEWAY and lost interest in playing til 2001 when I joined a Rotterdam based thrash outfit ENFORCER, we had a lot of fun and drank far too much but only made one demo back in 2006 (http://www.myspace.com/enforcerthrashes) due to lack of progression I quit Enforcer in 2008. just around that time I started jamming with my old drummer Rob again and gained a lot of interest in punk/hardcore/crossover thrash again. So here we are, 2010....T.C.F. http://www.myspace.com/thrashcorefanatics
I am also into collecting original pressing CD's and vinyls bigtime. I have about 2,000 titles in my collection if you need something uploaded lemme know
Cheers guys!
