They had to cut their set short in Sheffield, but I saw their setlist and it consisted of (maybe not in order)

Destroyer of Worlds
Killing Peace
Burn
Metal Forces
Let Tere Be Death
Power from Hell (this is all they played in Sheffeld, everything after this song was cut)
Planting Seeds of Hate
Flame of the Antichrist
And I THINK they had Lightning War on there too, I'm unsure.

Speaking of which,I know its being thrown on the podcast but I'll start a new thread with a linkfor the interview I did in a minute. Like I said, its on the podcast but it'll be heavily edited and the full 30 minutes is a must listen. They even gave you some kudos mate haha

Onslaught were fucking garbage. Honestly, watching Onslaught is like being at the Nuremberg Rally except the crowd is way smaller and no one is really paying attention to what is going on. What a fucking waste of time. I seriously regretted getting to the gig early enough to see them.

Testament were pretty good, though. They played a few songs off The New Order and were generally quite entertaining. It was the first Metal gig I'd been to in a while and I got more or less what I expected. I'd seen Onslaught at the same place a few years ago, however, and they were nowhere near as fucking rubbish as they were tonight, though.

I must have been at a different Glasgow Garage on Tuesday cos the Onslaught I seen were amazing. Short set, but 2 of the best songs off Killing Peace and a few oldies. They looked and played like headliners. Warbringer were also superb - Look forward to seeing them again. Testament were incredible (as always!)

I don't really rate them that highly as a band anyway but the last time I saw them they played a fair few off In Search of Sanity - i.e. their best album - and were moderately entertaining. I suppose the sound really didn't do them any justice although the sound for Testament was equally poor and I really enjoyed the Testament part of the gig. There was one part of the Onslaught set where they got the crowd shouting 'OI! OI! OI!', á la every other Thrash band ever, and I just thought 'Fuck me, this is fucking boring!'.

It is out of order for any Thrash band that made its name in the 1980s to play more stuff from their most recent album than from their classic albums. Considering that Killing Peace is especially rubbish, I was surprised that most of the songs from their set came from that album. Seriously, who goes to see an '80 Thrash band to see them play their new stuff? Testament played more songs from the new album than I'd have liked as well but at least had the courtesy to play some of their good songs too.

Eat my shit, you fucking working-class goon!

 Sigged!!

I don't even rmmber typing that, must've been a little shitfaced last night. All the same, theres a lot of shit surrounding ISOS and the band don't tend to play stuff off that record because a lot of people do't like it that much, whereas others love it. Simple as.

"In Search of Sanity - i.e. their best album"

Eh? Is he havin' a laugh? as Ricky Gervais might say. In Search of Sanity was good in it's day and has some great songs, but I don't think it has aged well. Killing Peace on the other hand is right on the money - Total Thrash and awesome with it. I don't think it's just me either. If you go to rateyourmusic site. ISOS is the lowest rated Onslaught album. There are over a hundred ratings for all the albums, so it's a fair sample.

You are of course entitled to pick your best album, just the same as anyone else, but to totally deride the band for the setlist when this is clearly the type of setlist hardcore Onslaught fans would want is "fucking garbage" to coin a phrase :D
