Me as well, was just checking he had not been a "daft ganty".
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

BC Rich aren't really thrash guitars, they are metal as fuck though. General variations on the V and the Explorer win in my opinion, I particularly like ESP's take on the Explorer. That said I've never played a proper ESP, only LTD. For me a decent thrash guitar needs some points on it, but straight points. Something like this:

http://nealmoser.com/store/images/1_bva_thumb.jpg

...has too many points. Four is pretty much enough. That guitar's more suited to a death metaller. The Razorbacks would be good if Dimebag hadn't died. It's a shame really, and kind of sickening. You know if he were still alive they'd sell for less, which means there'd be a cheap model (same quality as the regular model is now), and then the upper model would actually play nicely. Instead they bumped up the price of the cheap ass model using the deceased Dime's name as justification.

For general playability and comfort however, Strats win. Strats, super Strats, Pacificas, RGs, whatever. There's a good reason that most guitars are that shape.

P.S. Couldn't see the original picture. Anyone got a link to a similar guitar so I can see what it was?

Tear your fuckin' eyes out,
Rip your fuckin' flesh off,
Beat you 'till you're just a fucking lifeless carcass,
Fuck you and your progress,
Watch me fucking regress,
You were made to take the fall,
Now you're nothing!!

Ironbird is the German Thrash guitar. EX400 is the American Thrash guitar. V-Factor X is the British Thrash guitar.

I agree to an extent, I don't like those V's, because the wings are too small. The wings on my V (ESP v200 - cheapo version) has nice big wings. Which I like, but..impossible to get a soft case, ended up forking out for a hard case but mm, I like my guitar. Nice n sexy. know wot I mean?

Think I'm agreed on that one actually. The V looks too much like... Well, Lenny Kravitz plays one. And Jimi Hendrix had one if memory serves. They're great but not so thrash. I prefer the Rhodes-style Vs.

The only BC Rich I'd want to own is a Gunslinger and, as Strat-shaped guitars go, that's also butt-ugly.
