I misinterpreted that, my bad.

That may be the case, but I for one can't stand anything after Ride the Lightning. It just comes across as very very bad music to my ears.

shit
my favorite Metallica album is And Justice For All then Ride The Lightning
Used to love Ride the Lightning most but after I dig out the true greatness of Justice...

and Megadeth hey!!! don't you guys love RIP?

Someone said Machine Head earlier, yes indeed that's very true. Not quite thrash really (although Blood For Blood definitely is and is an amazing song!), but still Burn My Eyes was an awesome modern metal album, then the second album was okay but a bit boring and more nu-metal like, and then... well they did their Machine Head thing and started following trends with every album after that, and now they're a metalcore band somehow, and everyone thinks they're amazing again... Rubbish.

I totally agree with Exhorder though. Slaughter In The Vatican was amazing.. The Law wasn't as good.

I definitely have time for The Law. I know it's less of a riff-fest but the chugginess of parts of The Law. I'd also disagree with Heathen. Can't really add to what's been mentioned.

I disagree with Heathen as well, Victims of Deception is a brilliant album!

Timb Bomd wasn't even meant to be a Demolitoon Hammer record, Century Media just refused to release it unless it was under the DH name. SO I tend to pretend it doesn't exist.

Not entirely sure on the Torture Existence thing, Epidemic of Violence is usually given just as much (if not more) praise. I prefer Tortured Existence myself, but saying Epidemic of Violence didn't come close is silly.

I love almost every Megadeth album but in all honesty I don't think they ever matched Killing Is My Business. Peace Sells...But Who's Buying? was fantastic as were SFSGSW and RIP but KIMB had that feeling and that extra something to it that Megadeth haven't managed to replicate since.
