Well it depends on the type of black metal doesn't it really.
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

Hmm well it's not a genre i know massive amounts about, I'm sure James and Miika (I can't remember how to spell you name...) will be able to put me to rights.

But i do enjoy the following:













And of course the guy who i feel played a large part in it, stylistic and content wise, not in musical approach.




Now i leave it to those who are more trve.
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

In the shadow of the horns by darkthrone is a great track.

one of the most underrated bm bands ever filli nigrantium infernalium

immortal, call of the wintermoon

mayhem, deathcrush

marduk, panzer division


could do hundreds more really, not even started on the more obscure stuff!!

i am partial to a bit of dark ambient, but im quite fussy bout it, i find a lot boring, but there is some good stuff out there too. ill post some later when i have time and in another thread to save hijacking this one!!

well, I don't like black metal
the only few black metal acts I enjoy mostly is those not too general, traditional black metal
I love those atmospheric, sad black metal....





special recommend Sword Of Darkness


IF BLACK THRASH COUNT, I LOVE THIS ALBUM


some old Emperor and Darkthrone is good too, but really not my favourite
