it's an rr 24, the ONLY rr in production with 24 frets, high end japanese - i got mine for 800 quid... i agree emg was not my first choice i'm ery 80s at heart so probably woulda stuck a doimarzio super distortion in there, but i get the sound i want out of it so no need to change really atm, i love the colour it reminds me of chris holmes in the video for i wanna be somebody by wasp, man that was one smokin solo!

I've never played an active EMG. I am a Seymour Duncan devotee but that's because I've never been able to fault the pickups. I've tried out DiMarzios before but never a Super Distortion nor Super 3. I'd be well keen on trying them out.

i always find sds to beefy for me, dimarzios are nicer and a bit brighter i think, bit smoother.
it plays excellently, it is a japanese guitar afterall, its as good as an american only cheaper costs over in japan, the necks kinda charvel like - rounded, flat and reasonably wide - love it

Ah cool, never seen this thread before, at least I don't remember seeing it.
Drums:
I'm using odd sticks (different sizes) atm cause I broke loads and can't afford new ones
Drums:
- Pearl Forum 5 piece set with new Remo Ambassador heads
Pearl Powershifter Iliminator double pedal
Jildjian ZBT hi hats, 16" crash and 20" ride. ZXT 19" crash and china
Two pearl stands and one shit one I got for 20 quid form Wembley and a shitty cheapo boom arm with a clamp. I'm gonna stick with Pearl hardware from now on, cheap stuff is just crap.
