I agree that footnotes look better, but I learned the Harvard way and it's just a lot quicker when you're writing an essay that's in for the next day.

Fair point; one of the worst mistakes you can make is inserting all the footnote numbers, but not typing them out properly until the end. I've never actually done that, but it would be a living hell. Similarly, I always type up my bibliography FIRST - there's nothing worse than rushing to type out a boring bibliography once the essay is done and you need to rush to a hand-in.

My dissertation hand-in was quite memorable, as I'd been up all night finishing it off (helped by Red Bull and Cadbury's Fingers), then I had to physically jog to the campus to make the 1pm deadline - got there with 5 minutes to spare. It turned out to be amazing though, so it was worth pulling the all-nighter!

I never really let myself get into those kind of situations. I got As for the majority of the coursework I did in my Honours years but didn't do as well as I should have in my actual exams and ended up missing out on a First by three percent or something. Gay.

Hahaha, shame on you all, there's a re-recording of Mercyful Fate's Evil on the new Guitar Hero, and the King's vocals are really rubbish. I do actually quite like them on the real album, but his falsetto is now more rubbish and less powerful than it ever was. It's not horrendous, it's just rubbish. Hilarious.

All round I think it's a decent recording, and really cool that they have been back in the studio! However, you are right King's vocals sound a bit feeble (and flat) in places, and the whole thing seems slower than the original. At least it doesn't have a really horrible modern production though!

I was listening to James Taylor today. Unless you count Michael Stipe... sort of ripping him off, I'd consider him unique.
