Radiohead - New album name your price!

I dunno if there are any Radiohead fans here but the new album is available for pre-order. If you get the download you can choose how much you want to pay for it.

Is this the way to get your album sold??

Radiohead were an amazing Brit Pop band and then had to fuck everything up and put out Shit A. I remember queueing to buy it, sticking on my CD player and then really wanting to shout 'NOOOOOOOOOOO!'

Hahah! Radiohead are an amazing experimental rock band. Kid A is probably their weakest record outside Pablohoney, but it's still got some really interesting stuff on. I shall be buying the double CD, double vinyl edition of this album.

And I think this is a really interesting way of doing things. It's a shame there isn't a reasonably priced regular CD edition of the album, but I respect Radiohead's decision, and it's nice that the physical edition is a real die-hard for those fans (like me) who still like material objects. It's also interesting that the average price people have paid to download is still pretty reasonable.

Radiohead were never a britpop band, they just got lumped in with those bands for the medias ease.
