I seriously, seriously agree!

Although I heard a return flight to Hong Kong is like £800? :wall:

No, I can see where you're coming from. I mean, we were able to go shopping on Christmas Day last year, which in this country totally wouldn't happen! And because we were tourists, we didn't have to worry about things like work, housing etc we just drank loads, went sight seeing and then got food poisoning on our last day  some shitty little street cafe on Lan Kwai damn near killed me, never going to eat shellfish again.

Plus, the people we were visiting lived on Hong Kong Island, and they had lots of money to throw around (and they had to because it was their son's wedding as well, the whole reason we were out there), so we really only got to see how the rich people lived. Going over to Tsim Sha Tsui and Mongkok and walking along Nathan Road was a real shock compared to that! And yeah, we spent so much money out there - some things are so expensive compared to over here!

And all the high rise apartments! Our mate pulled a Filipeno maid and went back to hers, and he said she literally lived in a cupboard in some guy's apartment. On the plus side though, it was so high up above street level he couldn't hear the 24 hour traffic! Real culture shock.

Let's get bloodkrishna over here!
