Megadeth, Not Exactly Live DVD

Vocals are dubbed to cover Daves shit live singing. I'll bet there's a few other things that aren't live on this. The vocals are dubbed quite badly really.

haha yeah, mixed over it. on one hand dave is pretty awful live and i would rather have an over dub than no dvd at all. on the other hand its so obviously/badly overdubbed its embarrassing.

still. megadeth kicks dick so im buying it :rockdevil:

Hardly any cymbals in the mix at all. The toms are unnoticeable. The kicks are badly triggered. Only Dave's guitar is in the mix. It's really bad.

I would rather his live singing this is out of sync AND ultra echoy/reverby.

Fuck this - I don't mind his singing live, although saying that I haven't heard him live for ages... when the fuck are they coming back for Endgame tour?

so i got the dvd from the states and it sounds nothing like the clip above...
its still not fantastically dubbed but it sounds and looks 1000x better than that.
The CD is fucking brilliant. sound is very very good and you don't have to see the mismatched dubs in parts.

Nearly all modern 'live' albums have a lot of studio trickery done on them.

Dave Mustaine has always been pretty good live when i've seen them.

That is shockingly poor quality editing.
