AMOK confirmed for FTA'07

Postby ThrashMetalLuci on Mon Mar 05, 2007 10:36 pm

We are pleased to announce that the fourth band to be confirmed for Full Thrash Assault is Glasgow thrash outfit Amok. The five piece who recently released a new demo entitled “Operation: Thrash” were asked to play the thrash metal all dayer after their impressive performance at the recent DOminiON festival. A full review of the DOminiON can be found at http://www.metalteamuk.net and you can check out Amok for yourself at http://www.myspace.com/amokscotland . Other bands already confirmed are Irish zombie thrashers GAMA BOMB, brutal thrashers AGANKAST and Nottingham’s DEADFALL.

Full Thrash Assault will be held at the Snooty Fox, Wakefield on Saturday 08th December 2007. Tickets will be available to pre-order from http://www.metalteamuk.net as of 1st May, ticket price TBC. More bands are yet to be announced over the next few months so watch out for news updates!

Amok have released a demo?!

Is that a euphemism for charging good, hard-working people a fiver for a CD-R and a piece of paper?

Of the 5 Amok demos I have (Sanctuary in Sin, 3 Pints of Metal, Drink 'til You're Sick... Then Drink Some More, the Nuclear Blast demo and the 2007 demo) I don't think any have been released de facto.

Amok are the most unorganised band in the history of music.

awesome lineup so far :rockdevil:

Hell yeah! I'm really looking forward to this, it'll win so much :rockdevil:

I wonder who else will play... is it gonna be 7 bands again like last year Luci? Or will there be more?

Amok may be unorganised but they are a very good live band, both me and Luci were impressed with them live and that is why they were asked to play FTA.

I'll take you up on the monster munch. Then we can cut out the monster from the packet and bingo, you've got a spare musician waiting in the wings if anyone falls ill.
