Emulators are great things...if your computer is up to it the N64 ones are good as well.
Also MAME is awesome, i'll have to look into it again to see how they have updated it.

Right how do I get this to work? I've downloaded a SNES emulator and that Contra 3 link, but I can't work out how to start the game. It's asking me to load game, but when I type in Contra 3 the emulator just turns into a black cube of despair!

File > open rom, and open the zip file directly into the emulator. May not be the same for every emulator but yeah, give that a try!

I love emulators. What I really love is listening to the awesome music games used to have.... now I'm sad. Some of the emulators allow you to play the games over a network... 2 player games.... over the internet. Amazing!

RISTAR! I've unlocked that on the Sonic Mega Collection Plus game on PS2, it's pretty hard though, especially the final boss, I can't beat the bastard!

It would seem this particular download of Contra 3 is corrupt. Go on over to rom-gods.net and download it from there, that worked fine for me! You have to go through some adverts and voting bullshit but it works in the end.

Or get a torrent with 7 thousand roms in it?

Emulators are amazing, It's how i know there is more to the Snes than Star Fleet Academy (Brilliant game, so you can all sod off). I might actually play through Chrono Trigger again because it was so bloody good.
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

Thank the Police coming straight from the underground...
