Re: Far Beyond Anthrax
Who's Phil H?
I have no idea why Anthrax haven't called it a day yet. They pissed off the people who actually liked them by doing reunion tour and, subsequently, the people who used to like them and who were on a nostalgia trip by not continuing it ad infinitum. Ultimately, I think the band's biggest mistake was never trying to get Dimebag Darrell into the fold full time. Bearing in mind that Scott Ian and Charlie Benante, and the brothers Abbot are joined at the hip, it would probably have been impossible. Still, I have to believe that the combined output of Panthrax, or whatever they'd have called the band, would have been better than that of Anthrax and Pantera at the same time.
As Martin said, 'no fans'.

Re: Far Beyond Anthrax
Anthrax can reform if they get Niel Turbin back and only do songs from Fistful Of Metal.

I love the thrax, but they should really call it a day.
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

The moment Scott Ian grew that beard, they should have ended it.
You work it out.

I checked out the video and some others. The credibility lift remains on the down.

Wow, he really does sound like Anselmo.
As for Anthrax? I loved them when I first heard them back in '85 and I love them now.
Behind the Music type shenanigans never bother me unless it interferes with what gets put out on record, and they've not let me down so far (well, ok. Vol 8 was a bit naff).

Re: Far Beyond Anthrax
They should have got Billy Milano on vocals, and dan lilker back on bass, had just the one guitarist and played short fast hardcore-influenced-but-still-metal type of stuff.

Yeah that sounds like a really good idea.
