He's a right cunt! I had a quick run forward to him just to see what he's like, he's got a bloody ridiculous amount of HP. I did something like a bloody 7-hit quickening, taking off about 8,000 and only a tiny bit came off his bar! And then there's all that bloody disable and sap business, really bloody annoying, bloody hell! I'm going to have to run around the jungle for a billion hours, and probably buy new weapons and armour and all sorts as well. Shitting hell.

I did it! I got to level 27 (level 25 Basch and Ashe, 20 for Balthier and Fran, and 14 for Penelo because I hate her, though I still gave her two quickenings which helped me out a lot!). I think the key is, like you say, get some new weapons, and some new armour - Shielded Armour was my choice, as it automatically equips protect, and you can get loads of money by just fighting on the Ozmone Plains forever and killing loads of those big bastards and those weird horses. I also got Haste on a couple of characters (though didn't end up using it that much) and a Black Belt on two characters (which makes you immune to disable) and the thing that makes you immune to Silence on Ashe. And then just pound the cunt's face with quickenings (I only had one level 3 quickening, and level 2s on everyone else apart form Fran who had level 1), and make sure you keep Larsa alive because he (I swear he's a she) keeps giving you lovely potions. I did end up using about 4 ethers, but i managed to get a few when fighting forever beforehand, so that was nice.

I hope you still haven't killed it, otherwise there was no point at all in me saying all that. Though the idea of someone else reading it who hates RPGs is quite humorous.

Yeah, I've got Bosche at Level 24 and he has eight quickening and ferocious kill. Also, I got a weapon of Rabanaka - Holy Stick of Might. It's really good. If I get all lathered up with my stick the enemies just get beaten down well nice. Yeah, Jon that witch-woman is rubbish. I gave her a legume of truth and it did nothing! Still, I've managed to get to the Testilik boss. He's well hard, his draining sword just whips you down. I don't know what to do. Help, Jon.

Don't be an idiot Chris. You can't get eight Quickenings on a single character. But where did you get the Holy Stick Of Might from? I bet I could get loads of Critical Hits with that.

Incidentally, my next quest is to find 'The Sword Of Kings'. I can't believe this is real. It's the best game in the world! And also the most metal. If you don't like it, you are a pussy. And soon you'll start breaking out in vaginas.

He is a bastard! I think I was just quite lucky that he wasn't attacking Larsa so he was staying alive giving me loads of X potions and Hi-potions. Also once you've killed the other two things, it makes it easier to kill the big boy, you just need a couple of extra ethers, Esuna, and lots of patience! You should get a couple of Black Belt accessories on a couple of your characters too, to stop them from getting disabled. (That could sound quite hilairous to someone who doesn't know what's going on) Luckily, the next few bosses are very easy in comparison to this one. But it gets so good.... Keep trying, some wonderful things await you!

I've been literally making myself die with lack of sleep from playing this ridiculously addictive game during the last week or so. I got some good sleep last night finally. But bloody hell... it's amazing. I'm in The Pharos now, which I'm getting the feeling is the last dungeon-type-thing, and I'm very near the end of the game... It's been so long since FFX came out I forgot how amazing and life-sucking a new Final Fantasy experience is! I'll be able to get on with my degree once this one's out the way...

Woohoo! I finished it yesterday! Only took me around, erm, 69 hours or so... and I've got so much more to do still! The ending is wonderfully amazing. Although it ruined by a gay pop song, similar to FF8 and 9. I don't know why they feel the need to do that... anyway, bloody hell. What an unbelievable final Final Fantasy game for the ps2. A fitting swan song indeed. Much better than 10, and almost as good as 7! But really nothing in real life will ever be as good as 7. But this is bloody close. The only unfortunate shame is that there weren't really any major plot twists like there usually are. But the story was so good in the first place, it didn't really matter I suppose. And the music, oh the music! What an amazing soundtrack. The final boss is fucking great as well, lots of lovely fun. Absolutely amazing 100% well done.
