It has been pretty awful since he became obsessed with everything being 'CRUSHING!'. I think he uses a Peavey XXX but has his own distortion pedal coming out too. I watched that video of him playing some riffs that was posted on here a while back and his tone is like arse. He, like Exodus generally, should go back to what he had on Tempo of the Damned.

Gary Holts guitar tone make me ill. I think it probably started to emerge after Impact, just sounds like semi tuned white noise.

I could never understand the reasoning behind tuning to A430 or whatever it was on Fabulous Disaster either. I must make it a pain in the arse to be between E and Eb.

I'm just gunna add Exodus to the FRA$H list where I'm not gunna pay anymore attention to them so they don't keep doing my head in.

I think Gary's tone would be okay if he turned the gain down a bit.

Indeed, they where first on the list. Followed by every band to reform in the past 5 years, expect Gammacide

You'd hate my sound. Amp gain on full, Uber-Metal pedal gain on full.

Deffo put us on your list, we reformed, sort of. So far we've made enough money to buy some patches for our jackets and some ink for my printer.
Oh no, tell a lie, we got quite a few cases of beer. Scott Ian would be proud.

Why would you possibly need that much overdrive?

That must be absolute sonic mush. The only thing I can imagine that would make it worse is if you scoop your mids too, or have all bass and no treble...
