My favourite style of metal is Judas Priest/Iron Maiden style like Jon, but I'd argue they would come under the mid-paced category, compared to later bands who went a lot faster. So I'll go mid-paced, because then I can have a bit of speed and some super heavy doom moments sneaking in there too! So basically I'm totally sitting on the fence.

I'm listening to Origin Antithesis at the moment. It's so fast but SO clean. It's as fast as you can go while still being able to discern individual drum beats and string picks. Amazing. All metal shouldn't be this fast.

fast has the energy but alot of groove is lost so ill go for mid paced with a tinge the minge of fast
