I think this is classed as the 'animated' movie. The CG movie is to follow, then the Live Action TV Show.

Re: Star Wars: The Clone Wars
Does George Lucas think that everyone that isn't him is an unimaginative turd that doesn't know anything about Star Wars? I don't really see the need for all this extra stuff: it's not as if anything has been added that has really expanded upon the original plot. The original trilogy gave us pretty much the essentials and anything else, in my opinion, should have been left to the viewer to work out.

The original three were based on the most boring part of Star Wars. The rest is so much better. We need a movie about the Crimson Empire.

Re: Star Wars: The Clone Wars
Seriously, as a kid I remember saying "Yeah, just TALK about how there we loads of Jedis. just HINT at everything R2 and C3PO have been through. just REFER back to the Clone Wars. That's right George, do FUCK ALL with the decent part"
Then he said, "Okay Levi, I'll grow some balls and show you everything the world's missed out on. But you have to stop using capitals so much"
And thus it happened.

The decent part is surplus to the plot, though. The Clone Wars and how Anakin Skywalker became Darth Vader really didn't fill three films very well. They should have just extended the bit in Return of the Jedi when Luke is speaking to Obi-Wan about Leia:
'Incidentally, Luke, I cut your dad's legs off and he fell into lava. In my defence, he was trying to kill me. Oh! And you remember me talking about the Clone Wars? Well, you know Stormtroopers? Well, of course you do. They formed the Clone Army. Don't ask me why but some idiot chose the bounty hunter, Fett, whose son fucked your mates over recently, as the template. Had I been put in charge of creating a Clone Army, I'd have used a Jedi but, hey-ho, it wasn't to be. Aaaanyway, as we were saying, you need to foil Palpatine. OOOO! I almost forgot: watch out for the bolts of electricity he can throw at you!'
See!
