Razor of Occam

Postby James on Sun Mar 29, 2009 12:02 am

The Australian black-thrash fiends Razor of Occam (relocated to London) have just released their debut album on Metal Blade, called 'Homage To Martyrs'.

You can hear three new tracks at http://www.myspace.com/razoroccam - they sound totally killer, and I definitely plan to get the album. Razor of Occam feature members of Destroyer 666, and are playing at Hell's Pleasure fest this year!

I think their brand of thrashy extreme metal is really interesting, and their lyrical topics deal with science's clash with religion. The 'Sounds Like' section sums it up quite well: Destruction, Whiplash, Sodom, Destroyer 666, Absu...

I saw them at Festung a couple of years ago, and in Brixton supporting Asphyx; they totally deserve recognition, so check out their new material!
