I hear Down have got 19 songs written for their 3rd album, which apparently is out at the end of Summer?
Anyone else just get a whopping hard-on?

I really liked their fiorst album but thought their second was a big letdown. And then last time I saw them in Chicago (on the Down II tour), Anselmo was so fucking wasted he was a joke.
Hopefully their third will be a return to form.

I saw Down last year in Brum and (some equipment failure aside) they were brilliant. Ghosts Along the Mississippi, Bury Me in Smoke and Stone the Crow were just awesome.
I for one can't wait for Down III.

Down's music is always a joy. Real hard-pumping metal. Hope this release is as good as it should be...

Indeed. When I saw them last year, the experience was so metal my face nearly melted off, and Phil was on top form, as were the rest of the band. I'm sure their next album will be just as metal and great as they ever were.

I saw em in Manchester. It was fucking amazing. Every song they played sounded exactly like the album and the whole band were on form. Also, Rex Brown walked past me and I was too "metalled out" to say anything...
Great fucking band.

Loved Down until I saw them in Nottingham last year and they were fucking awful, probably one of the worst performances I've ever seen. Since then I've not bothered listening to them.
