Yep, I have a ticket for this. Time to re-visit my distant youth. The supports are worth getting there early for, and I love The Gates of Slumber too.

Couldn't make it unfortunately, but played some Angel Witch last night to compensate - I really want to see White Witch live!

Re: Angel Witch / The Gates Of Slumber
It was a dynamite night. Witchsorrow was, by far, the best I'd seen them.
Crowning Glory was totally on the money. This band play like it has 3 albums behind it, not just a MCD. Loads of storming dual lead work and vocals that put Halford to shame these days.
My fave band of the night was The Gates of Slumber, who I love anyway. They started off with a slow burn and by mid set had built to a raging inferno of pumping Doom/Metal. The crowd loved it to. Karl's solos were spot on all night and the whole band was getting off on the reaction.
Angel Witch played a great set. Not quite up there with them at their best, but still a great performance. Yeah, all the songs most to hear were aired, including "White Witch" ("The Gorgon", "Atlantis", "Baphomet", "Extermination Day", "Sorceress", "Confused", "Sweet Danger" & "Angel Witch" comprised the main set and "Devil's Tower/Angel of Death" was the encore). The only missing, for me, was "Guillotine", my fave song from their pre-album days. The band went down a storm and everyone went home happy.
All in all, one of the best gigs I have been to in an age - well attended and every band was on the money.

Nah, that old line-up ceased to exist 5+ years ago. It's now all Brit line-up. Will Palmer (ex-Mourn/Sloth) on bass and the Winters drummer, I believe. Not sure who the 2nd guitarist is - from Winters maybe?
