I have been recently getting into hardcore music (the classic stuff obviously) and I was wondering if any of you ragers could post up names of some bands I could check out.

I already know GBH, Discharge and also some newer bands like Armed Response Unit and Death Skulls but I need more! Cheers hip-cats!

When I saw SSS they were fooking horrible, th bass player looked about 9 aswell and his stage presence was horribly forced.

Agreed, thats when I saw them and me and both people with me were extrememly impressed, especially compared to the rest of the shit they had as supports, I'm fucking fed up of Send More Paramedics and their gimmick, its old and its shit.

Are you only interested in UK bands? If not, check out Totalitar from Sweden, they are the most ripping and gnarly HC band ever!

For a great punk/oi/HC mix, Blitz are my faves

Really, i got the totalitar / dropdead 7" and found the totalitar side a bit dull.

At the moment i can't get enough of the spazz, capitalist casualties, crossed out and charles bronson discographies. You should check these out. Charles bronson discography has 106 songs on one disc!

Yeah Cut The Shit's LP is great, as was their Bored To Death 7". I saw 'em with Municipal Waste in Camden a couple of years ago - anyone else go to that?

Totalitar dull?! I recommend their Sin Egen Modstandare (or something) LP, but ALL thier stuff rules. Do not dis Totalitar! (subtle joke). Funnily enough I find Spazz a bit dull...
