Wessex based Heavy Metal Gods BATTLEWITCH will release their long awaited debut album “Wessex Steel” on May 25th 2009 through their own imprint BLACK WIZARD RECORDINGS. These eight earth shattering tracks of NWOBHM infused groove and power were recorded at the renowned SOA Studios in Bristol and includes a re-recording of their much acclaimed live favourite “Doom Or Die”. All of the album tracks are currently up on the band’s myspace player for gentle perusal and general pallet whetting. This release is to be strictly limited to just 100 hand numbered copies and an option to pre-order your disc is now online – again, check the myspace for info on this. Some may see this limiting of cd’s as creating some sort of panic induced stampede to ensure that the release sells out it’s pressing. They’d be right, but we stress now – THERE WILL BE NO REPRESS.

The cd will retail at £5 (UK) and £6.50 (Anywhere Else) and includes postage. Copies will also be available at live performances while stocks last. Expect a few shows to be announced in due course around the release date.

Nope...it's a drawing of a gold neclkace I bougt for 75p at the Old Sarum Castle shop a couple of weeks ago. I also bought a CD called "Making Myrree".
