Ian,
As far as I know, it could be an isolated glitch, as nobody has reported having similar problems. Try sending the PM again, if it still happens then try clearing your Sent box out.

I'm in the process of getting broadband in my new flat at university (I'm sitting in the university cafe atm using their wireless) so I might not be able to fix the problem in the next few days, but it'll be done asap

I have been able to send PMs ok, and i have been recieving them okay, but a couple of people i know have been getting this error message, and i have recieved the same messages 6 or 7 times as a result.

if you can get a better error message through the admin side I can have a look at it aswell, see if we can figure out whats going on?

I'm having the same problem too, its way gay.

I think it could be a problem with my email server, not entirely sure at the moment - the code only prints out the error message when it can't send the email, so if you see the message, the PM has gone through but the "You have a PM" email hasn't.

I'm working on it though. Still using the internet in the university cafe, should have full broadband up and running by the middle of next week

I just got the Error message of death also

I get the error everytime I send a PM, but the PM sends fine. It may be an error of the page that says "PM sent" rather than the PM itself.

I never had any of the above problems until yesterday, and now every PM i send says sent, but they are going straight to my outbox, and not my sent items folder, so i dont think any of them are sending.

Craig, one of them is for you and is quite important too!!

Craig is still trying to get a broadband connection set up at his new university house in Wales, so this crisis will have to wait a little bit, as I am a totally inept computerer.
