New Soulfly...

Anyone?

Nearly through the first listen and to me it's a step down after Dark Ages, which I thought was a 3/4 great album.

This album i'd say is OK, 3/4 ok then just goes a bit off into filler. If you want to listen to good Max material of 2008 get the CC album and not this.

Exactly. CC will be a good one live because at some gigs, more Sepultura songs were played, and its max and Igor so maybe better than watching Sep play the stuff live these days? Maybe ill have to see one day because Sep were brilliant, and Derrick was on top form.

Also CC do Nailbomb stuff, cant complain with that. Seen videos of Maxs' son drumming on troops of Doom with his Municipal waste shirt on? Bloody good drummer for his age.

Dark ages is a lot better than this, but ive never been too keen on Soulfly.

Soulfly are one of my guilty pleasures haha. Still,c I thought most of Conquer was alright - the single was a bit lame and one or two songs enar the end were a slight let down, but I liked it. Blood Fire War Hate is a bloody good track, despite the sad lack of a solo.

Hahaha

The way I see it, I could be listening to much much worse. And at leats I ain't claiming that Soulfly > Max-era Sepultura because thats bollocks.Maybe not nowadays, but when Max was with the band they were immense.
