Some call it indefinite hiatus...I call it the end.

From our forum..

"It is with some sadness that I must announce that the all conquering mighty Battlewitch are going onto an indefinite hiatus due to insane reasons beyond our control. As a result of this, all upcoming gigs have been cancelled and anything Battlewitch related is going up on the shelf until further notice. Thanks to everyone who has supported us in one way or another - you mad fools - you know who you are.

This is bad news indeed, Battlewitch were the greatest band in the world, probably better than Iron Maiden and AC/DC combined. I shall mourn you.

In this very sad moment, you still managed to make me chuckle though... "due to insane reasons," absolutely wonderful.

Don't worry, Metalbrew will save up some money and pay you three million dollars to reunite in a few years time.

All my age group have sadly "grown up" and can't be assed to bring the Metal anymore. All I ask is to sing in a band that rips off Black Sabbath, uses a Cow Bell and writes songs about Wizards, Elves and Space.
