D.A.M. Have reformed

Postby Creeping Dan on Sun Jul 20, 2008 1:54 pm

Greetings to all.

We have completed a 4 hour rehearsal at the Musicians Co-Op in Lancaster. Myself (Jason), Dave Pugh, his Brother Brian on drums, John Bury and Andy Elliot. We played from the Human Wreckage LP: Death Warmed Up, Left To Rot and Human Wreckage. From the Inside Out LP: Man Of Violence, Winters Tear, House Of Cards and Appointment With Fear...

Everyone seemed to be quite happy with the way it went, and full credit to Brian, who had never played those songs before, but kept all of us together. We have booked further rehearsals and me and John will at some point get together to re-structure and re-record the material that was written after Inside Out... known above as the Kaleidoscope Sessions. This material is not as fast as previous, but is hard hitting with the DAM Riff Groove. Tracks titled to come: Salt To Slug, Foetal Position, Kaleidoscope, Heart Attack and Sleep Of The Just. More to follow.

Jason

I myself im happy about this and i cant wait to see them live!

this is ridiculous.

I think Acid Reign have already stated that there is no way they are reforming. Shame as that is the only British Thrash band other than Sabbat that I would actually give a shit about.

Really don't see the point in D.A.M. reforming. They were a shit band, no fans "back in the day". Worse than Slammer.

That's really, really harsh.

It really is taking the piss that so many of these no-name Thrash bands, be they American or European, have reformed. The only one that really needs to be made is to get Newsted back in Metallica. Whilst they wouldn't get instantly better, they could tour under the auspices of a reunion and forego the requirement to put out a new album first.

My point is that I really don't see there being that much interest in D.A.M. reforming, although this forum would suggest otherwise. I mean, if they are doing it for the money, how far is £1.73 and a Twisted Creme Egg gonna go between them all??

Slammer were better.

Ill have you know i would pay good money to see that. You should ask them to gig with you definatly. Get em on a Northwest gig because i wouldnt want to miss this.

And to be honest i dont see why people care about them reforming. Its obviously not for any money as theyll know theres nothing in it now. Some people will enjoy it, i know i will. So if your not into it then nobody would care to be honest because i doubt its a serious thing for money. Its not effecting you in anyway that they have reformed. So will in D.A.M.
