Tom here, wishing you all well in whatever you are doing. Life has been slow in the Mutant camp recently and unfortunately, we have bad news...

The recording has been canceled.

Our Laserdrome EP which we will have to put back in the cryro chamber for now is going to have to wait before it sees the light of day, as will all of you who have been patiently awaiting its release. For this, we thank you.

Paul Fulda is also going to be leaving us, the Apocalyptic Rage show will be his last with us. We want to thank Paul for his massive commitment to Mutant and wish him all the best! He came, he raged, he conquered! A replacement is being sorted...

Aside from illness there is not much more to tell, we will continue writing and rehearsing and trying to book some heavy shows. Mainly though, we will try and get the recording sorted. We may even record the next show for some sort of live album.

A big thanks to those out there still flying the Mutant flag! Stay heavy and keep the faith!

Gah this is beyond sucky, shame to see Paul leave he slotted in perfectly.
I just think we should all make as many bootlegs as possible now and all give Tom a fiver every time we see him. That should give them a jolly hand.

Yes, its awful and very annoying. All we want to do is put out music but fate seems to stand in the way!

Tom got the Mumps from kissing Sam too much, and then Paul got jealous and decided to leave the band. thats just what i heard... but its probably true.

Hey guys, yeah Im realy sorry to be leaving the band. Im starting a PhD in Birmingham in October, so Im not gonna have enough time to give the band as much as it deserves. Im sure Mutant will find a super-awesome bass player soon enough though, and so will carry on speeding through the neon-lined streets of neo-city at hyper speed for years to come. Its been great fun playing in Mutant, have got to play some awesome gigs and jam some killer tunes. Its a shame the recording has been cancelled (this is the first ive heard of this!?) just thought it had been pushed back again. I guess its becuase of how many times its been pushed back already, and then the final one has basically pushed it back into when im not gonna be in the country. Not sure when this will finally be done, but if the fact that the split 7" still hasnt been released one year after the idea was proposed is anything to go by... could be a while. Good luck to the boys though, and I do hope it gets recorded some time!

Sad times indeed. However, a thought just occurred to me, and that is, Mutant should be the first band to do a gig on the moon.

This fucking sucks. I quit a band to go college and it was one of the most depressing two years of my life. I got a good job out of it though and you can always do another band afterwards.

Good luck with everything to both parties, I want a mutant CD on my shelf very soon.
