I saw Oasis once, really hated the atmosphere, all the pushing and shoving by about 60,000 people

When I saw em in Sheffield couple of weeks ago, the atmosphere was deadly, I mean I had a great time but felt sorry for all the "casual" fans (especially the girls) who'd gone expecting every song to be Wonderwall with everything being nice and sweet, and instead just got battered with plastic cups full of piss. Still best gig I've been at though....and I've seen everything..
I remember a Nirvana tune, 'I Hate Myself and I Want to Die.' As much as I like Kurt Cobain. I can't have people like that coming over here, on smack, fucking saying that they hate themselves and they wanna die. That's fucking rubbish. Kids don't need to be hearing that non-sense.

Oasis are alright, not fantastic amazing but ok.
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

What Silent Cream said does annoy me, though. I really don't mind listening to the better Oasis stuff, e.g. the second half/side of What's the Story, but they're pretty much a band for bams/chavs/neds/whatever you want to call young, working class people who commit crimes. I guess it doesn't help that Oasis are themselves a bunch of chavs. I reckon that's what turns a lot of people off Oasis as they have put out a couple of albums worth of good songs in the past 15 years.
