Defeatist - Sixth Extinction is fucking fantastic, one of the better grind records to come out recently.

Checked out Backstabbers Inc, definitely going on my list. Nice and intense. I will be checking out the others too. I reckon it is good sense to trust your judgement.

I've wanted this album for ages. Only youtubed the tracks. I recently wiki-ed the band. I thought they'd only released two albums, 'Born to Expire' and 'Open-Mouth Kiss'. The latter is a wierd mix of hardcore and metal but I really enjoy it. Leeway are definitely an under-rated band - I think largely because they get overlooked for Cro-Mags.

more underground than a lot of previously mentioned bands but great live (I've seen them) are:

Curses - from Leeds
End Reign - from the Northeast/Durham/Newcastle I think
Broken Teeth - Manchester I think

Hardcore gigs I work at tend to be a bit of blur but these 3 really stood out for me

for a bigger names:

Born From Pain where also good live and have been on the go for quite a while

Also got a Disrupt's album last week
