I just hope it lives up. I wonder why it's only internet. I saw the last Steve Coogan thing live and it was pretty up and down. Even the Partridge bit wasn't up to it's usual hilarity. Still, if Iannuci and Morris are involved at all it will hopefully be great.

Yeah I'm a bit worried about this failing, but like when I saw the tour, even though it wasn't amazing, just seeing any new Partridge is jaw-dropping.

It's good to see Partridge again but I thought it could have been way funnier... let's see what the rest of the episodes are like.

Re: More Alan Partridge on the way
Agree, some good moments, but mostly just crap.
(most of which are just pure failed improvisation)
Who the fuck is this sidekick supposed to be?! He is fucking shit... and to top it all off, somehow the Alan Partridge character gets along with this guy?! Invites him to join his show?! It doesn't make any sense... he fucking hates young witty people.
He also isn't doing the character full-on... smiling too much and just being Steve Coogan instead.
Where's the hate - bitterness?!
Unfortunately I dont doubt for a second that this series is entirely taking place in the radio studio...
It's just lacking what was there in series 1 and 2. Alan trying 'bounce back'. Here there's no challenge... he's in studio and nothings happening. No usual awkward situations... nothing to build up story / plot.
Armando Ianucci is on board on this? Sounds like bullshit... or he just lost it.
