Holy fuck yes Jon! The random time changes, the whole album is packed full of riffs - just a mind blowing album.

Easily the most original thing i have heard this year. Acclerating Universe almost brings over elements of newer Dream Theatre style structure/riffing but in a proper thrash, in your face, balls to the wall type way.

Fuck me this is great, Heavy Artillery really out did themselves on this find - HOWEVER , not sure if these 10 minute epics would work very well on the live circuit...we shall see !!

Well that's bloody amazing. Definately need to buy this, the two songs I've heard so far are already kicking the arse of everything else I bought/downloaded this year and I don't have the heart to download an album this good from a completely unknown band.

I can't see why they wouldn't. It's like if they played two songs without a gap in the middle. Are people really going to get bored because there isn't a 2 minute gap in the middle of a 13-minute piece of music where the singer can say hello to them? If they do, they aren't worthy of the presence of Vektor. One of the things I hate the most in the whole world of music is this unwritten rule that songs can only be around 4 mins long. I used to think that rule just applied to pop music, but it applies to a surprising amount of metal too. More bands/people need to hear what Vektor are doing - pushing boundaries, taking everything you think you know about thrash/metal and fucking it right up the arse - and realise how important it is to strive for something different. There should be no rules when you're expressing yourself through your art!

By the way Josh, how amazingly unbelievable is that bit in Accelerating Universe at around 6 mins onwards? GOOD LORD!
