Who does it?

Currently I'm just using free plugins and a free recording program called Reaper. I'm programming drums, pitch shifting for bass and guitar is just plugged into the mic socket. No POD or effects processors.

This is where I'm up to with the sounds I'm getting. If you click on the link it should open in your computers media player.

It's Nick Crow's 7170 with some impulses made by Catharsis.

I'm really pissed off with my "set-up", I got a pod on Ebay and I've managed to get it playing through the computer, but when I try recording it with programs like Audacity or Cubasis, it doesn't pick up anything! I don't understand it.

Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

Just the classic red one (version 2.0, not a USB one).

I have one I could sell you, I think its this one:

http://www.roland.com/products/en/UM-2/

Although, Zurab I think James meant he couldn't get cubase etc... to pick up the audio. The MIDI malarky is just for if you want to visually edit patches and have unlimited amounts.

Is there a headphone port on it? Or line-out? Plug that into your line-in and record through your line-in.

On Cubase, go to 'Devices' at the top of the screen, click on VST Multitrack and there should be a drop box where you can change where it recieves the sound from. Switch that to your POD and you're laughing. I had the same thing with my Guitar Port when I first got it.

Cool, I'll try that soon. It's only crappy Cubasis I'm using, but hopefully it has the same option.
