Oh do fuck off.
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

Thank the Police coming straight from the underground...

His best album is Texas Flood. And for Skynyrd you want their first album 'Pronounced Leh-nerd Skin-nerd'

I am glad there is a fanbase for skynard on here. They are epic.

There seems to be a sudden resurgence of interest for the 70s stuff accross several forums I frequent. Not a bad thing as its always good to know your roots!!! Anyway I have a HUGE list of general 70s rock, but to be honest I feel that it may be a bit OTT to post the entire thing.

However while here I think I ought to mention Necromandus, an obscure band who had backing of Tony Iommi but then were shelved. They have an album out on CD or vinyl somewhere.

It seems Classic Rock influenced bands are coming to the fore a lot recently...

oh, yeah, I got Texas Flood too,
it's great!
the bonus track live of Mary Had A Little Lamb is insane!

plus got a box set of Rory Gallagher,
s/t and fresh evidence, 2 cds box set for one disc price,
gonna put them in my player soon.

oh thx, I will check out Skynyrd later,
and I never really know how to pronounce the name...

how about The Black Crowes?
I know this band but never heard any songs,
are they blues rock or folk rock?

Haha, just to make sure you're sure 'Pronounced Leh-nerd Skin-nerd' is the album title.

Here's one for you! Not really blues rock, but has a similar sound to Jethro Tull mixed with Black Sabbath, so hopefully you'll consider it worth a listen!!! :) Black Sabbath use blues scales I guess, so though it doesn't fully count, nevertheless I hope it is of interest!
