What the fuck is going on with those guys? It's been years since Laserdrome came out and we've heard nothing new since. They were meant to record two tracks early this year which would be out in the summer to tide us over until they did an album; there were pictures of the studio on their facebook and everything. It's November, no fucking sign of any new tracks. No news; loads of people ask them on facebook what's happening and no-one ever answers. They've got loads of killer, super-duper tunes if you see them live but they say they're not going to record any of them because when they do an album it will all be new material. What gives? I'm sick of fucking waiting for new Mutant! There are only so many times you can play 5 songs on the radio before you just say "hang it, I can't in all reasonableness play any of them again because the listeners will start to think I'm a bum-sniffing wanker who never plays anything new". They're such a good band but I'm really losing faith that they will ever actually get it together and do anything. There's only so long people will wait before they sod off and find something else to listen to and forget all about you! What a fucking waste.

Open all strings for 4 beats and then a really long pick scrape and then tom goes "UUUGH ITS THE FUTURE, BABY!!" and then sort of like 12 bar blues a bit for a while and then that repeats but with a thrash beat behind it, with blasts and stuff at the end of the song. thats actuallly the 12 min epic as well, its call FUTURETRON 500 (SPACE SLUT) THE RE-OPENING
