I don't have the exact figures in front of me, but the 3-day ticket was about £80. After that it was £120 for a return flight, about £50 on bus/train tickets, and £200 spending money.

This year the 3-day ticket is about £60 (probably gonna get more expensive closer to the day) and I'm taking a coach straight to Wacken which is considerably cheaper than a flight.

Is that through Argon events? If so, be warned it's the longest coach journey you'll ever take (unless you go stupidly far abroad). 24 hours to Wacken on the coach, and whilst you do get to stop for piss breaks and stuff, it's fucking bad if you're a bit tall and need leg room. I prefer to fly to Hamburg.

Fly/drive is pretty cool, we did it last time. Flew to Berlin then rented a 7 seater and drove to the fest. Stayed in Hamburg on the way back and laid waste to the Reeperbahn all in all it was pretty cheap as there was a group of us so split 7 ways its ok. :rockdevil:

Oh boo hoo, you missed it last year, otherwise you would have been up at the front praising Nightwish.

You can't move for Brits at Wacken - there's seriously no problem about finding them!

I was considering Party San this year, myself.
